Can Do Cancer is a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of cancer patients receiving IV infusion chemotherapy at a Des Moines or Ames treatment center. Can Do Cancer provides dinner for patients and their families on chemotherapy days, house cleaning services throughout treatment, a website for patients to learn what they need to know after a cancer diagnosis and patient partner support throughout treatment.
Expanding Beyond Breast Cancer
Thanks to a generous grant from the Iowa Cancer Consortium, and in partnership with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, we're expanding our reach to all cancer pathways in our services. We’re looking for survivors who want to mentor and support patients through treatment.
Help another patient believe they can do cancer, too. Submit your interest by completing the Patient Partner Interest Form. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
